burgers
I love buck we buck we is full of the
essential eight amino acids including
lysine which is fantastic for collagen
production it is full of magnesium
manganese zinc copper you’re gonna look
ten times younger if you don’t already
look young now with all these foods and
recipes we’ve been sharing also we’re
going to be using mung beans which are
full of protein vitamin C boosting your
immune system but without further ado
we’re gonna go to the raw food chef
she’s going to tell us how to make it in
five easy steps number one so we cook
the buckwheat and the mung beans
according to package instructions
usually it’s one or two cups of water
for one cup of buckwheat or one cup of
mung beans we cook them separately and
we set them aside so they’re ready for
the burgers number two while the
buckwheat and the mung beans are cooking
we chop some vegetables really this is
up to you you can chop and add whatever
vegetables you want for today’s burgers
we have chopped some red onions some
carrots and we also
pepper and some pumpkin seeds add a
little crunch number three we place all
of our ingredients in a food processor
and we pulse all the ingredients for a
little while remember we’re not going
for a paste or a buckwheat hummus here
so we don’t want to blend for too long
just enough to incorporate all the
ingredients together number all now that
all of our ingredients have been
combined and they have this nice happy
marriage together we are going to form
the ingredients in two patties or
burgers whatever you want to call them
and place them on a sheet place them in
the oven and bake them for about 30
minutes or you can build them in a pan
with a little bit of coconut oil or any
other vegetable and lastly number five
so we assemble our burger we can put it
in a bun and put some toppings on it or
we can put it next to some delicious
today we have prepared some creamy kale
using actually our homemade almond milk
as the base for the cream and we have
also some pureed butternut squash is
side dishes and a colorful salad as well
that’s it in five easy steps here is the
moment of truth we are going to be
tasting the buckwheat burgers so here we
have actually made a buckwheat eggplant
our using – buckwheat mung bean patties
and eggplant in between we also put some
tomato spicy sauce and we are going to
have this buckwheat burger with a side
of pureed butternut squash and some
creamed kale and a salad and we also got
mmm so much richness so much flavor Oh
mom always told me not to talk with your
mouth full
yeah the things have changed hmm
it really is so versatile and you can
also if you don’t grill all of the
buckwheat burgers you can put them in a
free the freezer and save them for later
they stay for a while and then you can
just take them out of the freezer and
grill them whenever you want to have
like a quick snack or a nice meal pair
them with side of mashed root vegetable
or a salad put them in a pita pocket
whatever they are so versatile there’s
so much you can do with them it’s
