group of people and they all just wish

many people when I think about Dwight
and all of you praying for me and Evelyn
it’s as I needed I needed it all and
they didn’t I will cling through the
physical pain and emotional pain and I
was asking myself what is this about it
was it was challenging and and what I
realized is that life happens to all of
us and those know
this was my time and this is the most
pain I’ve ever experienced in my life
and I’ve never been so caught up in the
health industry I was rushed to the
emergency room at least six times
because of the challenge I was taken
with this and and the other thing that
had happened to me and I want to say
this right so people don’t get it wrong
when you are dealing with T I was on
something called oxycontin and I’ve been
taking it for the pain as I was directed
to do had no idea now I don’t smoke or
drink had no idea that I couldn’t just
abruptly stop because I would go through
extreme withdrawal that’s look I’m
mentally strong no no less you you just
can’t stop this you have to have help to
wean off this and so I did not listen
and I went into withdrawal and it was it
was it was worse than hell the vomiting
my potassium got so low I had pain in my
chest and so I had to then get on
something called suboxone and that helps
to minimize with negative impact of the
oxycodone being withdrawn from that and
then only to discover oxy of the
suboxone is addictive and they’re so mr.
baskin take you a year to wean off this
huge-ass can’t stop attack I can’t stop
why why well this you tell me I’ve gone
from one addictive drug to another
addictive job can you know I realize
there are thousands of people but just
like me who
a legitimate physical pain and was given
a prescription to address that pain and
and then you just can’t stop you have to

and my children say I came home one day
and my children they confronted me they
had my best friend and my mentor Mike

want to remain strong and ask for help
and don’t stop until you get it I said
well I have an ask job dad
you said you can’t see the picture when
you’re in the frame don’t use my words
on me and finally every objection that I
gave I finally stopped and I said I know
that you are doing this because you love
me so do you think that I’m weak know
that we don’t you just need help I said

and so I said they say well yeah they’ll
be back here to take you tomorrow I said
no I gotta go tonight
why don’t go tonight I’m not going and
so they took me to a sinner – for people
that withdrawing from various types of
drugs heroin methadone crack you know
lifelong addicts and you know people
standing too high my brother Joyce has
been cracked I’ve been addicted for 22
years I survey my drug of choice has
been oxycodone I’ve been addicted for
two years and I didn’t even know until I
tried to stop and it was first
embarrassing the first two days good
people to look into it they would do a
double-take know that know then that
can’t be in you you changed my life
no that’s less time you know and so the
word yes
what throughout this place immediately
bless – and so I end up doing the class
you know while I was there I was gonna
motivate people to maintain my energy

it’s not about shame it’s about my being
willing to surrender that this is bigger

and that I left and went to another
Center and I I’ve been to chiropractors
and acupuncturists and medical doctors
to deal with the pain from the two

and I was going every place I went I
went in with pain and crying
left with pain crying and then God would
have it I was in a drugstore get a
prescription still a boxer and I saw a
sign when I went down the aisle

do you realize I something said get that
and I bought that back brace I went out
into the parking lot and put the back
brace on something don’t wait till you

yeah that is amazing and you know I want
to just share one quick thing less today
I had to go with one of my closest and
dearest friends I consider her my sister
since third grade we’ve been best
friends
she got a diagnosis that 60% of the
cells in her thyroid were malignant and
we had to go follow up with key
specialists today and it was myself and
another one of her in-laws that was with
her we’re talking to the specialist and
he said wow we really have a lot of
support and that makes the difference in
fighting with if it’s the worst case
scenario after we review your files
it’s 100% curable and you can we can
take you through the process and you’ll
be fine but this support is what you
will need in order to fight it and
that’s what you were talking about less
having your children around you
supporting you loving you having those
of us that work with you supporting you
and loving you you were able to draw
from somewhere else and go deeper
to find that additional strength to
still fight what was happening in your
physical body and on behalf of everyone
listening I know they want to say hello
to you and share a few words so we’ll
see if we have time at the end but I
want to say thank you for standing and
staying the course not giving up still
pushing through and I can just see you
in the facility holding court giving
classes and inspiring lives thank you so
much
well I want to play as as the oncologist
the cancer is incurable and I smiled and
he said why are you smiling and laughing
you got lucky laughter I said I
appreciate you and what you do and every
three months I’ve come here and and I
get this injection I said but when you
say to me that it’s in curable I said
that to me means that it has to be cured
from within and I’m up for the fight and
that’s why you see me smiling I’m not
afraid of this and I believe that that
the time that I’m here the work that I’m
doing
the reason it’s been 20 years and all
the treatments I’ve gotten that I’m
still standing I still have my voice I’m
still able to make a difference and and
I said I feel blessed I feel blessed
that I will be cured from within and and
that’s why I can be thankful for you but
also for the Saints that God has given
me to handle what life throws at me and
I want to say to those of you that are
listening three things I want to leave
with you one and
you to to listen to as many positive
things as possible I want you to go on
YouTube and find my videos and put in
less why I’m speaking in the Georgia
Dome I guarantee you I started watching
it while I was there if you watch it
every day for a month it’s going to
change it at subconscious level they’re

and I have more second thing is surround
yourself with collaborative achievement
driven supportive relationships

blessed because of the people that I
have in my life like you say see like my
children it’s it’s made of a tremendous
difference most relationships are social
but you want collaborative people you
can work with achievement with an
achievement driven relationships and the
other thing is aligned yourself with
that which gives your life purpose and
meaning you know can you Roger said
something I loved and said norther have
a a long life a happy life it’s fun to
love something to do and something to
look forward to until I have loved in my
life and I have something to do I have
this work I I have to see it is it gives
my life meaning when I was in this drug
program and encouraging and motivating
people and they were assaulted
encouragement to me as well while I was
there and having something that you look
forward to but that that God is using
you as an instrument to make a
difference to make your mark you know
that next week I’ve got a special
message for you this is distracting me
what I’m hearing in my ear that you can
and I encourage you to have other people
on the call there’s something I want to
share with you that that was shared with
me and that created shift in my mind and
helped me to go to another place
spiritually but I believe that that was
what was supposed to happen for me going
through this experience that the
spiritual dimension of myself that had
to go to another place and as you listen
to me understand no the only reason that
you’re listening is because what I’m
saying is already in you it’s already
there otherwise you would be someplace
else listening to someplace else
and so I’m gonna join you through and
watching the debate but I want to remind
you that you’ve got greatness in you you
have the ability to handle whatever life
throws at you I encourage you to join me
