When Crisis Happens

you know one thing none of us can avoid
in life is crisis it’s gonna happen to
all of us there’s no matter who you are
where you’re living right now somewhere
in the world you’re experiencing some
kind of a crisis now your crisis may be
a level-10 you’re lost a loved one who
you crisis is a level one you just got a
speeding ticket regardless you have a
crisis I got a call a couple months ago
from one of my good friends telling me
about one of our very very good friends
what happened till now let me explain
who this guy is he’s probably one of the
sweetest guys I know very strong very
fun guy to be around never imposes
himself and he’s the guy that actually
makes you feel good like he’s the guy
that make you like to be around him cuz
you feel good being around this guy and
I get this cuff for my friend and he
says we’re all expecting because he’s
about to have a kid and you know these
guys try for the longest time to have a
baby that he wants a son his wife’s
pregnant with her son and you’re about
to have a son and I get a call from my
friend and he says hey Pat and you know
when you get that call with the voice
it’s a little bit uncomfortable and I
said yeah what’s going on he says you
know such-and-such our friend
they went to deliver the baby 40 weeks
the whole thing’s done dude they they go
there to deliver the baby the week
before baby’s got heartbeat everything
they go to deliver the baby the baby’s
dead I said what he says the baby’s dead
my car downstairs in a garage my heart
just drops and I was beating with
something that they heard in the morning
and my heart just dropped some oh my
gosh are you kidding me like this is a
guy this shouldn’t happen to this guy
he’s a good he’s a good guy me he hasn’t
done anything to anybody and I’m sitting
there every problem in the world got so
small in that split second of a phone
call that I got every problem we were
having dinner last month and at one
point of the dinner he just opened up he
started talking about and he broke down
fully crime it was a very emotional
moment but what he taught me in life in
that split moment without him even
trying to teach me anything is the fact
that whatever crisis you are facing
there is somebody that’s going through
something that’s a hundred times a
million times bigger than yours that
believe me you do not want to go through
it and what’s impressive about him is
when you talk to him he’s gonna see this
when you talk to him he actually gives
you strength you know it’s crazy it’s
like he he tells you it’s gonna be okay
man it’s gonna be okay like we’re like
it’s gonna be okay
god is good it’s gonna be okay it’s
gonna be okay it’s gonna rock oh my gosh
and he validated to me that at the end
of the day you and I there’s seven
billion people living in a world but in
reality is you and I unfortunately are
going to be judged by the way we handle
crisis in our lives and you can’t avoid
it you can’t run away from it the only
true thing to do is what this guy good
friend of mine did to face it it’s the
only thing you can do and the more
you’re able to face it and overcome it
you may never forget it you may never
forget it because it may be scarred that
stays with you for the rest of your life
but eventually you become an example to
other people and you also become an
example to yourself or backbone to
people that look at you and say
man if he can overcome that if she can
overcome that so can I so whatever
you’re going through today just know
that there are many people around the
world that would give anything anything
to exchange their problem which your problem you’re facing today
