so what all the current challenges
taking place in Syria and the
controversies whether we should get
involved or just leave it up to them for
the civil war to be taking taken care of
I think for the most part everybody
would like to see this thing and
peacefully and when you think about Miss
America pageant’s or miss USA pageants
what’s the most common answer they give
at the end when they say what’s the
greatest goal in life world peace
that’s easy world paintings well peace I
personally believe that us Americans are
unable to do so because some people out
there in our nation don’t have maps and
I believe that our education like such
as in South Africa and the Iraq
everywhere like such as and I don’t know
about the last one before the most part
the answer is world peace so recently I
was on Third Street Promenade with my
family in Santa Monica we were walking
then I saw this gentleman with stickers
all over the place of world peace and I
stopped by his booth and I asked him I
said so tell me about your story with
world peace movement and he says well I
got involved in a rally 30 years ago I
met my wife there and I’ve been involved
and done a lot of great things I said
but I want to I want to ask you a
question what is your formula for world
peace and I’ve asked this question from
so many people I have yet to hear one
answer one formula for world peace and
by the time we were done speaking I
think the conclusion we came up with is
that we’re not necessarily seeking world
peace it’s really freedom were seeking
because one is attainable while the
other one is not sustainable so but
let’s look at it if we did want to have
world peace
what would the conditions need to be we
would probably need to have the same
religion same faith same way of raising
our kids same rules a lot of things
would be to have the same thing without
any differences and is that really
possible
is it really possible to build a nation
based on a bunch of perfect people
how many perfect people do we have in
the world because when I think about it
there’s only two people in the world
that are perfect a newborn and the dead
why because they can disagree with you
and I so think about in a whole
different way imagine if we would have
put a few kids in a room together
they’re all three years old
and we give them some toys how long
would it take before we started hearing
that’s mine
Johnny pushed me how long would it take
why because from the moment we are able
to form an opinion as kids we are
different and you know what that’s okay
because conflicts are part of our lives it’s my message the week to you
