How to Become a Man- A Mothers Advice to Her Boys

have you ever said with somebody and had
a conversation with them were at the end
of it you kind of sat down and said I
cannot believe what this person just
told me right now with the story like
we’re a very high level of inspiration
happened to you you heard something that
you wanted to share with the world this
is probably one of the most profound
stories I’ve heard somebody share with
me and this happened about three weeks
ago I sat with Tyrone Montgomery former
NFL Raider he played for the Oakland
Raiders football player and he comes
from a very incredible family my tater
Store the family first you can kind of
get an idea where this is going
his mother raised eight boys right eight
boys now you’re ready for this statistic
out of the eighth boys four made it into
the NFL think about that story right
there right you have eight boys four of
them make it to the NFL same father same
mother make it to the NFL
a family of faith just very high belief
on faith expectation standards and
Tyrone was telling me how once he was
sitting down with his brothers and
talking to his mother and his mother
said boys I need to share a story with
you and he she said everybody down and
she said this is one of the most
important lessons I’ll teach you and
they said what is it she said always
remember to make sure to have the young
you take care of the old you right to
have the young man take care of the old
man and Tyrone says the first time when
I heard my mother tell me this I thought
she was talking about you know you guys
will make it in the NFL you make your
money and then you take care of your mom
and dad but she said no that’s not what
I mean by it what she meant by it was
this make sure the young you in your 20s
30s 40s 50s takes care of the old you in
your 60 70s 80s
I haven’t never heard of that before and
put it that way I’ve heard a different
version of it but I was just so
flabbergasted by it so today’s message
is very simple I think it’s sometimes we
think of we have all this time
in the world were just yesterday I was
thinking about I was 16 17 18 years old
and I’m no longer anymore we’re aging
it’s very important to have our young us
take care of all old us as we age
financially health-wise in every way
possible
it’s my message of the week for you from Tyrone Montgomery’s mother
