going to go for a coffee and then we’re
going to go to the shops and why are we
doing this Lucy we want to teach you
vocabulary yeah and it’s a good excuse
to get coffee so we’ll do that and try
and dress it up vaguely as learning
things hate educational right fun and
educate fun joke ational that do you
think yeah that’s great the Sun has come
out do you see that’s why I brought the
sunglasses hey guys wooden coffee we’ve
ordered the same coffee with both over
that way but I want the flat white well
I learnt this recently flat white is
basically the same as a cappuccino but
the milk is not frothy the milk is just
warm Oh
velvety cappuccino that would have been
a better name well it’s a very popular
at the moment it’s strong and cool and
no one knows what they are but everybody
else but there’s a difference so what’s
the difference between this happy and
this one
what is the difference well I ordered my
coffee have to take away and Alec would
adhere want to drink it oh my sister

so normally they’ll say eaten or
takeaway if you want to take away order

I’ve ordered an almond control and Ali
has ordered a sausage roll so inside
there is sausage in pastry that’s big
quite a common British food isn’t it
traditional sausage roll but I was all
there very savory breakfast and I
ordered the sweet one open this you did
using sweet savory I have salty we say
favor to late breakfast it’s too early
for not refusing women

mango I’m a mango man the Granny Smith
and this is my personal favorite
these ones are pretty nice as well so

version Asian foods you’ve got Indian

Reaper in it which I know is illegal
Lucy’s favorite meal I’ve never tried
one of these but I’ve never tried one
were you not a student a microwaveable
Humber hamburger I’ve never tried any
proud of it yeah a university like not
good okay not good luck you can get like
a microwavable rib sandwich oh my god
yeah that’s idiot I promise you British
food is more like that
I recently become very fashionable to be
allergic to something it’s not just fat
some people actually are soompi some
people are just it is fashionable but I
think that a lot of people do get
genuinely affected yeah so my flatmate
is actually celiac which means he can’t
eat gluten but I know that a lot
suddenly 50% of London is allergic to be
it’s a fashion thing don’t worry next
you kind of like a health thing as well
I think people think it’s healthier
sometimes it’s a lot more expensive
I’m expect to get 3 pounds for a loaf of
bread this bad boy is Marmite it’s like
a yeast thing that we put on bread and
it’s catchphrases you either love it or
you hate it I personally love it
but yeah so you know some people it’s
not known for always being disgusting
some people really like it yeah I love
it
but I understand for people that aren’t
British bit weird try it buy it buy it
buy it in the basket down nailed it
performing so another thing I thought I
point out that we always almost always
buy our bread in loads this is a loaf of
bread and Spanish is call it fun being
often please Nick I know skip us always
wants to ask you is this real Mexican
food because we have a wide variety
oh no causing trouble wide variety of
Mexican food but is it genuine
that’s what I want to know do you sell
stock no one in Mexico is he in there ok
so another typical British food is
porridge is a breakfast for us and it’s
just outs and milk and we like to add
other things in to price it up we at
whole reception dedicate
I personally don’t like it that much and
I’m not a big tea drinker so I kind of
let down the bridge I like both tea and
porridge so this while it may look like
fruit juice is actually a thing we call
squash and Americans only know squash as
a vegetable like a pumpkin but we call
squash this kind of concentrated fruit
cordial and the danger you need to avoid
which is what Lucy’s that made it is
don’t just drink it straight out a
bottle you have to add you have to add
water to it that’s we have predict it’s
a lady talking yeah you have to add
water to this if you buy this especially
this stuff which says double
concentrated don’t drink that it tastes
disgusting so a big aisle of Spanish and
other international wines you’re going
to be a pool you’re gonna be really
upset at the prices look come over here
we have a lot of taxes our wines really
expensive yeah like five six ten pounds
for a bottle of wine whereas I believe
in Spain it just comes out tap you just
turn on the tap of wine yes really
yeah just flows like water I love it
so quite an optimistic ice-cream ban man
who has seen the two seconds of sunshine
that we’re having today and are likely
to have for the rest of the year and
he’s trying to sell ice cream so yeah
someone’s someone’s buying it’s not I
wouldn’t call it hot though it’s not
really hot enough to get yes about 13
degrees centigrade that’s not okay guys
so we’re back at home now and yes we had
a great day going for brunch and coffee
and going shopping we didn’t actually
buy that much they did that was for
educational purpose yeah we hope you
