BRITISH ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION – /əʊ/ vowel sound (oh, no, go)

Hello! And welcome back to English with Lucy
and another part of my course pronunciation of British English.
Today we will talk about another diphthong, and that is ‘oh’.
Before we begin, add to all my social networks.
I have a Facebook, Instagram, and of course Weibo channel on Youtube
and also you can patronize me on Patreon
and you can get a really nice reward for lessons on Skype and handwritten letters
So: ‘əʊ’ is a diphthong, and consists of ‘ə’ and ‘ʊ’ … əʊ
So two vowels, one syllable.
During this diphthong mouth changes shape.
əʊ əʊ …. ….
From its Spanish students often hear ‘no’, ‘go’, ‘Klos’,’ klods’ hop ‘
It is bad!
Do not do it! You know it’s wrong, so stop with that!
The letter ‘o’ have some words such as bone, close Thon.
‘Game of Thrones’ I never want to hear the ‘s Geim zronz’
or worse ‘s Geim zrounz¨’
I heard someone say ‘Geim ov zronez’
zrones! ni voy a decir nada
So first we have the ‘o’, and then the consonant ‘e’.
Thus, bone, close.
Then we have the good old ‘o’.
So we have both, Almost, local, open, over.
Then we simply words ending in -o: ago, go, come on ,.
Well, the SO (ahhh, one more -o), which is so important.
‘No’! ‘No’ sounds for our children and children talk, ‘no’!
But -eee- … no … no … must be no!
We also have words with ‘o’, a boat, goat coat
NE at co-bo-at! Boat, coat, throat
toast (no toast) toast!
Words ending in ‘oe’ toe the name Joe, foe.
Words ending in -ow as borrow or follow or grow!
We also have words with -ou although like or dough
Thus, young people, I hope this lesson will help you.
Please purposefully try pronouncing this correctly diphthong.
If yes = Sa (Sa !!!) If yes,
Your speech will surely soon sound more British.
