a problem though isn’t there we are at a

this is a bottle of carbonated water and
now there’s a little bit less than there
but don’t worry do you know what that
carbon in carbonate is referring to gas
yeah it’s a gas carbon dioxide gas
that’s right and it is just dissolved in
here like crazy I’m gonna pour it into a
jar yeah let’s get some more in there
what do you say a little bit more
because you and me call this sparkling
water we call this water with gas we
call this carbonated water but guess
what
raisins call it a dance floor I’ll show
you what I mean that’s why Mike okay
I’ll tell you why this looks quite
boring until I add some raisins and all
those wrinkles on the raisins become
nucleation points for the carbon dioxide
and those bubbles cause they’re density
to change they float right up to the top
yeah when they reach the top the gas
pops and it goes back into the
atmosphere and the drazen drops back
down they’re dancing around like crazy
pellets of raisins they’re dancing
raisins or you know with a scientific
term for this is it’s called raisin the
roof what can I say
what can I say but there you go the
raisins they’re having a fun time you
can do this at home with anything any
kind of fizzy drink it’ll move around
but I like sparkling water you know
there’s certain candies you can put in
that cause that nucleation to happen
really faster it explodes right yeah
absolutely I’m sure you’ve seen
