so are you gonna drink some it’s the
table thing what’s going on Jamie I
brought the most delicious dish
okay knowledge all right here’s what’s
going on Jamie
I’m gonna make us what I call vsauce
eggs okay all right
eggs what color is an egg white what
that’s right very good
but if Vsauce egg white is Vsauce colors
it’s green it’s also kind of a Vsauce to
blue but guess what I’m gonna do it with
totally natural ingredients no dyes no
radiation all right here’s your only
dude first of all take this egg okay
keep it safe second of all before you
showed up I chopped up some red cabbage
right just kind of a little into strings
soaked it in water and microwave this
for a couple of minutes
all right what’d you get after you do
that is this beautiful red cabbage juice
you see this stuff look at that that
stuff’s gonna make you live forever okay
I don’t know if it’ll make you live
forever but your egg it is a fantastic
pH indicator a pH in pH indicator it
changes color
so because of electrons so don’t only
look out in my garden and I see cabbage
I don’t see cabbage anymore
I see pH indicator seeing pH being
indicated that’s right so what I’m gonna
do is play around with this when you add
this to an acid or an alkaline material
it changes color no way right so let’s
take that egg and separate the yolk into
this container and the white into that
bowl okay so the whites are going in the
pressure now tip to crack open this egg
the whites go is a lot of pressure the
white is alkaline okay so you’re what
happen across here yeah but here’s the
boy we got a nice close-up on that look
at this okay it’s pretty boring right
it’s white it’s yeah it’s a gross kind
of a yolk selling like that’s gonna make
that green this purple red cabbage juice
will turn our egg white green night
right now my kids are gonna love this
Oh beautiful colors oh it’s going right
Kelly
that’s the turquoise it’s changing and
and like do i whip it up whip it up a
little bit yet then we’re gonna do put
some oil in the pan
yeah and throw the white in Oh
before we do that can I see acid reacts
notice like that now well yeah okay
watch this watch this here’s the red
cabbage juice pour that on the plate
okay first of all it’s already nice and
pretty right nice and pretty well we got
the we got a cowboy screen here can you
see that that’s the turquoise green from
the have a little note from the alkaline
egg white so that’s out come on up
you’ve got green eggs so the outcome I’m
gonna add the acidic lemon juice watch
what happens oh that’s good Michael
fluorescent color let’s say green
indicated science at work okay dad’s
across the world we gotta show some pH
to our kids will be like him will be
like clever and stuff we cook it let’s
cook it yeah okay so I should pull the
weight in first or do whatever you want
I guess okay well let’s just see what
happens I mean this is in with the yolk
yeah white sorry and put the yolk out as
if it never got separated yeah and look
at that beautiful color all done without
dyes it’s just red cabbage juice so we
got green eggs dude we got green eggs so
at the weekend he cakes you make some
toast some green eggs some bacon you got
these sauce eggs science for breakfast
