It’s the day after a massive turkey dinner I’m looking at you Turkey Dude, how is there
still so much of you left?
I need to do something with this turkey, this is the best turkey I’ve ever cooked turkey
club sandwich, been there done that, turkey bubble and squeak, did that too…ultimate
turkey chowder, yeah.
This is a super simple recipe fry up some roughly chopped garlic and onions and some
finely slice bacon until dark soft and sticky I like to add the garlic halfway through so
it doesn’t overcook then add some roughly chopped red pepper Cajun pepper sweet smoked
paprika and a solid pinch of salt and black pepper whilst that’s frying I’m gonna get
out my leftover roast turkey and veg I’m gonna pop my turkey slices and veg into the processor
I’m then going to add my stock and blitz lightly, I don’t wanna mush it I just want to break
it down into smaller pieces this is perfect life couldn’t get and better after you’ve
blitzed it you can then heat it on the hob but I’m using a steam blender to do the job
all in one go I’m ten minutes away from being back on the sofa taking in a good movie and
chowing down on the best leftover meal ever add your fried ingredients along with some
corn off the cob all the while steaming your chowder add a swig of single cream to thicken
and add smoothness then season to taste that’s it folks things couldn’t get any better so
I’m ready to dish up now I’ll pour it out into four bowls and serve with crispy smoked
bacon and a sprinkling of cheese time for the taste test delicious creating something
this good shouldn’t be this easy but it is rich smooth and spicy chowder Guys I implore
you to try this recipe at home and share your pictures with the hashtag #LOVEYOURKITCHEN
and if you want to see how to cook the ultimate turkey click on the link on the bottom left
corner of the screen and if you wanna see the behind the scenes stuff all the crazy
stupid hilarity there’s a button down there to check out that action, I’m gonna have a
sit down I’ll see you guys next time!
