what’s up so – my name is Amber Kelly
from cook with Amber and get excited
because I’m going to be sharing a
dessert recipe with you guys that is
going to blow your mind and impress all
of your friends this is my creamy
raspberry banana sorbet inside a dark
chocolate bowl we’ve got this really
creamy sweet and tart sorbet and this
rich luxurious dark chocolate Bowl it’s
awesome it’s kind of like a craft meet
the recipe it’s so much fun to make and
I really want to show you how to do it
let’s go so the first thing we got to do
is get our beautiful chocolate and I
have a bowl here of this silky smooth
melted chocolate and all we did was we
got a saucepan and we filled it with
some water we brought it to a simmer and
put this bowl on top so we made a double
boiler and then we filled it with 560
grams or about 20 ounces of dark
chocolate you can use semi-sweet
whatever you want I like dark chocolate
so that’s what we got here and then we
just mixed it and whisked it at the end
so that it’s silky smooth so once you
have this you’re going to let it cool
and focus on your balloon so we’ve got
these cute little water balloons because
we want our bowls to be like individual
portions you know I think that’s way
cuter so all we got to do is stretch it
out at first just a little bit so it’s
easier to blow up you want to be about
this day like one good scoop of ice
cream
or two
I’m going to do is take spoon fulls of
the chocolate and put them on this map
now the point of this is so that our
bowls have some sort of a base I have
six dots here on my tray and you want to
make sure they’re spaced out so that the
balloons aren’t like bumping up against
each other and all we’re going to do
grab it by the top like this and go
straight in and you can swirl it around
like that and place it right on your
little circle this would be so much fun
to do with your kids and you can even
dunk these in sprinkles or in some sort
of cool like glitter like edible glitter
that’d be awesome too so with all this
leftover chocolate you can either dip
some more balloons or what my family
does is we put it on a wax paper and
then we just let it sit and Harden again
so if we ever need more chocolate we can
just remelted recycling the chocolate
basically now we’re just going to put
these in the fridge or if you’re like my
family and your fridge is completely
crammed then you can just put them on
the counter for about an hour to an hour
and a half or until they’re completely
hard so it’s been about an hour and our
balloons are fully solidified and parred
so what we’re going to do is take some
scissors and it sort of just kind of
like poking and having people’s eyes out
we’re actually gonna do this carefully
so we’re going to lift up the top of a
balloon we’re just going to do a little
snip like this and all you got to do is
just pull it away from the sides of the
wall just be patient and gently pull it
and it’ll come right off Millcote
these look awesome and all I’m going to
do now is just carefully unstick them
from the bottom look how cool that is
now on some of them you might have this
little problem you see that little hole
good if you have that don’t worry it’s
fine you can just melt a little bit more
chocolate and just take a little spoon
and drizzle it in on the mat and let it
sit for another 15 to 20 minutes you’ll
be good to go and now we’re going to
move on to making our raspberry banana
sorbet I have 1/2 cup of almond milk in
here but we only need a quarter cup to
start so I’m going to add in about half
of this we have about a cup of these
gorgeous frozen raspberries which go in
and last but not least two frozen
bananas for that sweet so we’re going to
add in the rest of our almond milk just
be patient
alright that looks really good to me and
look at this consistency and it is just
this gorgeous pink color you can always
pop in a Tupperware in your freezer and
then it harden it a little bit and then
you can take an ice cream scoop and
actually make it really really thick or
basically just soft-serve and I like it
like this so we’re going to scoop it
into our bowls because this is pureed to
perfection and then we get to eat look
how cute this is
I am in love with this I think it’s such
a fun way to plate it can you imagine
making this for your friend and being
like yes I actually made the food and I
made the bowl like how awesome is that
now we want to see though if it tastes
as good as it looks
we have a little bit of sorbet and
chocolate in there
mmm oh my goodness okay first off that
chocolate has such a cool texture
because it’s super thin and almost
crunchy and then it starts to melt but
the flavors of the rich dark chocolate
goes perfectly with that fruity tangy
creamy sorbet a big chunk broke off and
I’m just using it as a soup if you’re
looking for a WOW factor dessert this is
the one to try it’s going to impress all
your friends and family it’s going to be
so so awesome so if you give this a try
