Halloween Party Cake Pops | Sharon Hearne-Smith

hi foodtubers I’m Sharon her and Smith
and I’m head-over-heels about baking
without use in the oven I call it no
bake baking and today’s sweet treat I’m
going to make some cake pups but they
have a spooky Halloween II twist
so my first ingredient are these Oreo
cookies which are gonna pop into the
processor and I just need to flip them
up to a fine crumb
okay think you have it this time have a
little love okay who would have known
their Oreo biscuits I love using these
for Halloween eat treats because they’re
nice and black and it makes a change
from the usual kind of a dirac cake that
you’d use and take parts and then the
other ingredient there’s literally just
the two ingredients in this is my cream
cheese and there’s gonna pop it in and
blend it into the mix also here we go
mmm when it comes together I’m having a
little look and it looks smooth mushy so
I’m just gonna take like a golf ball
sized piece and roll it feels nice and
squidgy
smells yummy and then pop it onto a
little tray lined with parchment paper
so that it doesn’t stick to the tray and
then go again and this will make about
15 balls all together so there is the
last little Bowl please just need a
couple of areas to set and then we can
move on to the next part
so now coming from the fridge the
cakepop balls are nice and firm have
looks Scrooge they look yummy
I’ll try not eat them just yet and I
just need to insert six in the bottom
and normally we use cake pop sticks but
I’m going to use these cute paper straws
especially because they’re lovely
Halloween themed colors so I’m just
going to dip one into this melted
chocolate and that’s gonna act like a
little glue in the pot and just stick it
into the cake pop have a little look
squidge it in and that will set and make
sure they stick together I’m gonna do
three altogether I have three little
guys and I’m gonna show you how to
decorate perfect now have a little look
we’ve got milk goes to guide a little
flat and a little mummy what do you
think the kind of are they spooky scary
a little bit friendly but I’ll show you
how to make all three of them so the
little mummy first of all I just have
some strips of white fondant icing which
I’ve rolled out I’ve cut out the strips
I just literally wrap them around and
you can just have a bit of fun with
wrapping it around whatever way you like
it the kids are going to love doing this
and leave a little space at the front
for the eyes to go that’s a little mummy
and then the next guy I’ve got the
little ghost okay so I’ve got the rest
of my white icing and I have a round
cutter here or you could use a cup or a
saucer cuz I would exist
you can pop it over the cake pop looks
like a little ghost guy called Casper
Casper the Friendly Ghost
okay so just pop him down for a second
and we’ll do the last guy which is the
bat very exciting so I have some black
fondant icing that this is really easy
to pick up you can get in the
supermarket or any really good cake
making shops this is a black fondant
icing which overall days and then I just
got a bit creative with some cards on a
pencil and I drew out a bat wing I’m
just going to pop it down on the black
icing and then cut around with a sharp
pointed knife
and then to do the wing on the other
side just flip the card over in the
opposite direction and cut as the wing
that points the other way if you have to
leave these to dry out and preferably
overnight so to pop these into the take
part then but again going to just dip
the little end into the chocolate as the
goo and stick it inside one side but
this little guy that’s wishing his brain
too much and then the other one so the
eyes I have with a leftover white and
black icing it’s really easy to make
some eyes with some little white balls
so with the little white part of the eye
a little bit of white chocolate will
glue it there and then the same with
this one
and then the same with a little black
dots the overall smaller balls glue them
on top of the white
so there he is looking like some spooky
so guys if you like this recipe its
check it out in the box below and I’ve
got loads more no-bake recipes in my
book no bake baking so I’m just gonna
get on with the last couple of ice
so guys they are my no-bake cakepops I
hope you have fun making them get the
kids involved leave me a comment tell me
