so welcome back to our food competition
on foodtube it’s been quite an
experience Jamie and I have worked our
way through a lot of photos it’s been
really really really difficult and we’ve
decided we hate judging so the first one
is by someone called her own e and came
through Instagram what’s interesting
about her own e shot is she shot it in
black and white and I think she was
probably one of the two two or three
only photos that came through in black
and white it works really really well
she’s titled it Chinese food it’s
obviously some dim sum which have been
freshly made so they’re not cooked yet
what’s lovely about it as the details
lovely and it I mean it looks like it’s
been shot on a mobile phone I think you
could see every little detail the
lighting is beautiful I mean it’s it’s
slightly backlit and you want to eat
them that’s imposing it’s very hard to
make uncooked dim sum look edible but
you know I’d quite happily those raw
really lovely photo next one which we’ve
shortlisted is by someone called lottery
loop now Lottie loop has done something
slightly different here which again made
her stand out from from the others she’s
added some typography into this as well
with sweet temptation in sort of pen
there’s a lovely simplicity about this
photo if anything is slightly
overexposed on one side but I think she
might have done that on purpose it’s
sort of it worries me slightly but at
the same time doesn’t it sort of dark
and light and maybe that’s about sweet
temptation the dark and the light I
don’t know but again she was trying to
do something different and I really like
that she’s tried to do something
different and i do want to eat the
biscuit I can see that again the focus
is on the grains of the sugar on they
eat me and and you know i do want to eat
you it’s um it’s a really sweet photo
and forgive me I have to choose one and
Jamie and I have to choose one and her
oniy if this is the way I say your name
your dumplings
going to go through so thank you so much
everyone we just want to give you a big
verbal group hug really for entering
this competition it’s been so difficult
to choose but I love the fact there are
so many people out there taking photos
other food I do hope the little master
classes will help and the whole idea
really was to demystify and to simplify
what you know you’re doing so we’d love
