DJ BBQ’s Krabby Patty Burger


what a food tubing is DJ BBQ cooking up
for your viewing pleasure
the best food in the history of forever
a krabby patty burger topped off with a
grilled corn and avocado salsa this
recipe perfect for lunch dinner or a
barbecue I’m gonna make enough to serve
four people I come from Maryland our
motto is Maryland is for crab come with
me and beast with your eyes so I’ve got
four spring onions but for my friends on
the other side of the Atlantic scallion
so we’re gonna chop these guys up I’ll
take off the heads just chop them up you
can use the whole thing get into the
bowl
next up chill a deseed a really finely
chop it up
we got the greens and the red and now
we’re gonna zest an entire lemon we’re
gonna make it rain lemon zest 2
tablespoons of mayonnaise 1 to 2
tablespoons of yogurt pinch of freshly
cracked pepper and then my favorite of
all ingredients this comes from my home
state of Maryland
old bay you got celery salt paprika
spices it smells like a Bloody Mary it
smells like the crab house that I worked
in this stuff’s amazing and really good
on popcorn so we’re gonna weigh the
teaspoon of this stuff and then it’ll be
a couple drops of Tabasco for that tang
and then a couple glugs Oh we’ll just
sheer sauce a cracking egg and just take
out the yolk and put the egg white in
there egg whites in and now we’re take 3
cream crackers
I like to feel really strong and gnarly
so I always go jaw yes all the
ingredients except for the seafood is in
the bowl so we’re gonna kind of blend it
all now we’re gonna mash it all up and
then we’re gonna add the seafoods we
don’t want it al to break it probably
want a nice big chunks of crabmeat so
come on in here the crackers kind of
soak up the yogurt that mayonnaise
spines all together makes
Zess is evenly distributed so we’ve got
all those ingredients rocking and now
we’re going to fold 450 grams of crab
meat in there and we’ve got a hundred
grams a brown shrimp now I don’t want to
mash it all up
I want to fold it all in so all that
kind of liquid goodness which will help
bind the cakes okay let’s make our
patties so I’m gonna section off for
these guys push them down so it goes
more into a kind of a patty vibe stick
these in the fridge for about a half an
hour you can do it overnight the yogurt
and the mayonnaise help binds all
together and they become one patty all
right guys I’m gonna stick you guys in
the fridge I’ll see you in half an hour
okay you got a watch bro okay it’s time
now for the salsa mango chopped up
avocado chunk it up grilled corn half an
onion chilli finely chopped juice of a
lime flat leaf parsley woo pepper salt
and a drizzle of olive oil so the sauce
is done I’m not gonna get my patties out
of the fridge we’ll get the panel heated
up and we’re gonna start cooking okay so
I got the fire pan on to the grill get
it up to heat and now we’re gonna throw
about a tablespoon of olive oil in there
it’s time now to fry our krabby patty
burgers Oh
sound of Awesomeness cat me Newt that’s
French for four minutes so it’s four
minutes time to flip nice and easy
ah look at these guys
looking good whilst they’re cooking I’m
gonna toast my buns
these are demi brioche buns so you gotta
be careful because there’s a little bit
of sugar in there and that Wilber is
just want to give a quick toast
ok let’s check out our buns oh yeah
that’s you want to see faces down and
then put that beautiful grilled corn
avocado and mango salsa on the bottom
our Krabby Patties had four minutes per
side make sure they got that nice
golden-brown and warm throughout we’ll
just finish them off with a bit of
lettuce so we’re being super healthy
right
got that lovely salsa and then pop them
all off us a boom now suck on these how
good does that look
you know you want to make that you know
you want to eat it squeeze a lemon go
back in and now you shall be mine I cook

things I’ve put in my mouth
