there’s a more geeky photographers you
know having a selection of lenses to
cover everything oh okay if you’ve got
if you can afford it
lots of lenses great time lenses you
know which should have one – the big
glass and you know – made specifically
for a job you know they’re expensive but
they are amazing lenses amazing you know
a lot of people go for a more of a zoom
which will allow you you know to zoom in
zoom out wider and I don’t tend to I do
tend to use primes I have one or two
which I love I have a tilt and shift
lens which allows you to change it
literally tilts the focus plane on
itself on an axis and it very popular a
very trendy at the moment the good macro
lens which is more like a portrait lens
but gets very close ideal I mean I would
happily have lived off that lens for the
whole of my life and not change the
length I could have done anything on my
left really and a wide angle again never
really works with food unless it’s
occasionally you’ll be standing
somewhere abroad and you want to take
whole tabletop and he wants to take it
from above and you can get the whole lot
in but to be honest you use these things
once in a blue moon whether you want to
invest the money in that for once in a
blue moon you know I have to do it with
my job if I’m taking my photos for blogs
or whatever then there’s no point you
have a lens that you love and you tend
to stick to it 50 mil and 80 mil
something like that they also make these
little close-up extenders which you’ve
been you know if you have a standard
lens you can even buy them those little
extension tubes which go on their little
little rounds of metal and you put them
on between your camera and the lens and
they allow you to get that little bit
closer each time the bigger the center
tube the closer you can get and they’re
fun and you get lovely macro settings on
those and you can get very very close
very shallow focus and you know your
photo can almost become pink
