the 80’s 90’s 2000s and 2010’s and
ranking the most memorable of them all I

decades we are changing this rank up to
account for how well the characters have
stood the test of time this is why you
might see some rank shake-up especially
with a certain Hedgehog have no idea
what you’re talking about but I’m pretty
sure it’s a bad thing number 10
Solid Snake Metal Gear series you sound
like you’re happy when Metal Gear Solid
arrived in 1998 snake quickly evolved
into a real character with inner demons
a sense of humor and a backstory well I
know I won’t be bored for the next 18
hours not to be confused with big boss
snake demonstrated a dramatic cinematic
shift video games were making being

this English archaeologist has achieved

including most recognizable female video
game character some people deliver the
post I jump heavy rivers and fight
Tigers her blocky digital body showed
off the PS one’s full capabilities but
there was more to Lara than big square
boobs from the beginning she’s been a
witty charming spark plug that anybody
would want to have an adventure with of

exploring Hyrule retrieving the master
sword and rescuing the eponymous
Princess Zelda from Ganon link is truly
an internal character which is probably
why he keeps getting reincarnated
number three pac-man pac-man series when
he first burst onto the scene in the
1980s pac-man changed the way we
perceived videogame characters and today
he’s considered a legendary icon even to
those who don’t play video games good

pac-man may not be the most complex
protagonist he’s essentially just a
yellow ball that eats dancing ghost boo
boo and pac-man eat them all – without
this unlikely phenomenon however the
doors would have never been open for
other characters on this list given his
revolutionary place in gaming history
it’s only appropriate that pac-man is
shaped like a wheel mrs. pac-man may
have refined the gameplay but he’s the
original who defined it number two
Master Chief halo series good to see you
master chief things aren’t going well
even if you’ve never owned an Xbox
there’s no denying that the chief is the
face of microsoft’s gaming empire tell
that to the government it’s safe to say
that this super soldiers green armor and
helmet are forever embedded into our
popular culture we’re not leaving them
here
yeah you’re not Master Chief has only
become more intriguing complex and
identifiable with every passing game his
farewell to Cortana being an emotional
high point it was my job to take care of
you we were supposed to take care of
each other
every dead we can’t wait to continue
peeling back the Master Chief’s layers
until we finally find the man behind the
mask but we’re not holding our breath
