i phone galaxy and pixel you’d think
there were the only three major players
when it comes to smartphones but this is
far from the truth oh sure there are
some great devices out there like the
iPhone 10s Mac’s the Galaxy Note 9 and
Google’s own pixel phones but there are
some extraordinary alternatives to which
you may not even know about hey everyone
welcome to gear up the WatchMojo series

smartphones before we begin we publish

videos not listed in any particular
order number one the Huawei P 20 probe
while not popular in the u.s. due to
ongoing political strife with the
Chinese company Huawei recently overtook
Apple as the second largest smartphone
maker in the world measured by market
share and just behind Samsung part of
its success is its advanced phones like
the Huawei P 20 pro which has a
phenomenal camera the first smartphone
in fact to rock a triple like a lens
system on the back of the device with a
40 megapixel main or RGB camera along
with a monochrome camera and telephoto
lens and ISO levels that rival a single
lens reflex camera for exceptional
low-light performance what’s more this
device also has a 24 megapixel
front-facing camera for selfies and
video calls this 6.1 inch phone also
impresses with its 2-day battery and a
Huawei supercharged boosting feature
that can yield a full day of power after
a charge of only 30 minutes the second
underrated smartphone of 2018 is the
Oppo find X first of all this phone is
one of if not the best-looking devices
you can find today thanks to its
gorgeous six point four inch OLED
panoramic art screen with no bezels and
no holes visible on the screen I mean
look at this thing if you’re wondering
where the camera and sensors are it
simply pops up when you need it so
there’s no notch gate here folks
the stealth 3d cameras are not just
hidden but they contain several
innovative technologies including a
facial recognition system
there’s a front camera rear dual camera
and multiple sensors and all devoted to
giving you some stellar photography and
for security reasons – as the Oppo find
X is the first Android smartphone to use
15,000 facial dot recognition and
intelligent analysis to log you into
your device number three from Oppo –
poco it’s the poco f1 from Xiaomi before
we talk about its features it should be
noted the poco phone 1 is only 300 bucks
yes you heard that correctly
compare that to a high-end galaxy or
iPhone which could be more than five
times that amount powered by a Qualcomm
Snapdragon 845 mobile processor there’s
a lot of bang for the buck here oh sure
it’s a basic polycarbonate chassis and a
decent six point one eight inch IPS LCD
display but don’t knock it till you try
it which might be an issue as it’s not
the easiest phone to buy in the West
it’s worth noting it also doesn’t have
NFC which is disappointing but for some
not a deal-breaker but what it does have
is exceptional battery life with its
four thousand milliamp battery under the
hood delivering two days worth of
consistent usage and did we mention the
poco f1 is only $300
all right the fourth most underrated
smartphone of 2018 goes to the ROG phone
from Asus you likely know the Republic
of gamers or ROG brand from Asus is
devoted to gaming laptops desktops
monitors and other accessories and now
the company has set its sights on their
first official smartphone designed for
those who take mobile gaming seriously I
had a chance to play around with the ROG
phone at the e3 videogame Expo in LA and
again at a press event in Toronto and
it’s a powerful and versatile beast that
should make any gamer salivate powered
by a 2 point 9 6 gigahertz Snapdragon
845 processor and Adreno 630 GPU ROG
phone offers blazing 90 Hertz refresh
rates and one millisecond response times
all rendering gorgeous Full HD graphics
with HDR on its six inch AMOLED screen
to keep things from getting heated this
is the first phone to offer a vapor
chamber cooling system
and with a detachable arrow active
cooler for an extra cooling boost for
total control rog phone has a unique
side mounted port programmable
ultrasonic air trigger sensors and
powerful force feedback system to give
you some serious haptics while gaming I
also mentioned it’s a versatile phone as
optional accessories include a twin view
dock for dual-screen handheld play the
mobile desktop dock for desktop style
gaming and more I love the RGB lighting
on the back of this ROG phone – alright
the last underrated phone is at the LG G
7th in queue the Moto Z 3 or the 1 + 6
well it’s actually not an Android device
but the least expensive of the new
iPhones while iPhone 10s and 10’s Mac
seem to get all the love Apple’s iPhone
10 R has a lot going for it
between its all-new liquid Retina
display probably the best-looking LCD on
a phone you can buy today impressive
cameras with smart HDR great low-light
performance amazing portrait mode and
for the bouquet effect for background
blur more depth control as you can
adjust the depth of field after you
shoot other features include faster
faced ID an impressive a12 Bionic chip
durable glass covering the 6.1 inch
phone available colors to choose from
and a lot more the iPhone 10 R could be
the unsung hero out of the trio of new
iPhones hey thanks for watching gear up
