growing up out in this part of the world
virtually all the old-timers put up
their fish in jars or cans my uncle had
a tin can or my dad mom had a tin can
her for quite a while and there was a
way of life back then we give it a
little bit of olive oil to tune it up a
bit I’m fortunate enough that I lived
that way myself that I know how to do
all that stuff went up the oxygen in
here gets hot it leaves again and when
they cool down she creates a vacuum
either really destroying all the
bacteria a lot of people that have lived
out here for a while kind of take this
lifestyle for granted but it’s fragile
you know it’s it could end with just a
minor event I’m really happy that I’ve
been able to enjoy it and to me it’s
like it’s paramount that we take care of
our resources so people can’t live like
this out here that way that way now it’s
a waiting game
their ceiling see that a little bit of
cool air got to them and so I can just
touch the tops and they go pop pop pop
nice stuff there we go
I’d call that white and gold for
wintertime
