peace infinite waters diving deep once
again who told you that how the room is
spread Chinese whispers and for me just
moving to different states of awareness
I’m just realizing how much of what
we’re told is from our own thinking and
how much has been put there through
schools through religion through going
to work and all of these things and I’ve
just realized that it’s just like a
massive game of Chinese whispers and a
lot of people think that they are
thinking their thoughts but at the same
time are our thoughts thinking us and
it’s just like the ancient Hopi have the
most beautiful saying they say that the
one who tells the story rules the world
and for me being a writer as well and
even I have this admiration of writers
in general people that can weave stories
and make them seem realer than real and
it just shows me that it’s so true
because a lot of what we are told is a
story which has been written so well and
is so believable it’s like Inception
you have to make the story believable
when you’re putting it in someone’s mind
and really and truly I’ve just realized
that a lot of the things we’re saying is
just because they’ve been told to us
from childhood many of us have never
even experienced what we’re talking
about but yet we believe it because it’s
just when enough people believe in the
same thing then it becomes a collective
reality when only a few people are
believing in something then essentially
you feel naked you’re like well I need
more supporters so that’s why so many
people are caught up in this battle of
convincing people to believe what they
believe in and for me I’ve just realized
that it’s all bs
is all belief systems and really and
truly it works like that but essentially
when we look at how stories have
controlled humanity for so long
and a lot of times it’s like history is
the lie agreed upon the more absurd the
lie is the more it will be believed by
the masses and for me that rings true to
some what extent because a lot of these
stories humanity has adopted whether
they are creation stories how was the
wall created well the world was created
because some people were in this place a
garden all of these things and it’s a
beautiful story but who wrote this story
well it just got here so this is like
see all of these things a lot of us
we’re not even questioning who told who
in this massive game of Chinese whispers
and for me it’s just liberating and
empowering to realize that the one who
tells the story rules the world
you had Edward Bernays and I recommend
everyone should really research him if
you can because he is like the father of
propaganda related to Sigmund Freud and
he realized that by imagery and by
telling stories through advertisement
you could literally get people to buy
things and you can manipulate people’s
behavior and that’s why he made women
smoke he didn’t make women smoke but he
influenced women smoking all of a sudden
I’m not a massive helicopter so
in my mind is how it works and there’s
just been so much manipulation through
stories and I feel that a lot a lot of
writers out there when you’re writing
you also realize the power of the word
and how it can change behavior because a
picture is worth a thousand words
but this is this is it the one who tells
the story rules the world so who is in
charge of our world is it us or is it
someone outside ourselves and then I I
question myself even deeper to say ok
what story am i creating and that’s it
infinite waters diving deep once more stay wells that stay healthy peace
