my name is Jesse for real action and
today I’m going to show you about the
squids on the green stick and how to
properly use them in a couple of ways it
makes like a little bit easier first off
you’ve got your your main line and
there’s places the hook split on and
each one of the squids are different
lengths we have six different places
that we can hook them onto you want to
learn the hook six of them up there at
one time unless you were fishing for
like elephant or black fan or something
like that because if you get multiple
big fish on there at one time they’ll
break a law and they’re numbered and
when this thing is going out fast you’re
going to be able to get them out quickly
and a lot of people use magic markers
and try to mark the line like number
four number one number two number three
to four but what I found is easiest on
the end as we put beads in
so when it sticks going out it’s going
out fast and you’re going to be able to
grab the right one if you get the wrong
one then you have to pull the whole
stick back in switch around all kind of
crazy stuff so at the beads it’s easy at
a glance instead of having to try to
count the lines this goes on the first
one that goes on the second one that
goes on the third one fourth fifth and
six and it makes it super easy super
quick and less chance of error
especially when things are hot and heavy
you get one fish all you want to get
that thing back out there for that
second fish a whole lot easier just one
beads throw them out the links have to
be very specific to the stick because
you want them just to barely dangle in
and out of the water and that’s the key
you don’t want to drag on you don’t want
to slapping back and forth what I’m just
dipping in and out of the water it’s
really important to kind of getting stay
organized and not make any mistakes
because every second counts you know if
you get one fish in and you need to get
them back out the fish you’re still
going out there if you make a mistake
you’re going to pull the greenstick in
its wasted time wasted money cost you
money cost you a fish I hope this helps
you out the next time you’re out on the
water
