Eoin Macken on Playing Antipas | Killing Jesus

de bas antipasto came the Tetrarch of
Galilee because when Herod died instead
of anointing one of his sons his King
because he went to be crazy he divided
it into like tetrarch’s that became like
rulers of certain areas you find comfort
here where your father once rule Antipas
marries her Odia who is his brother’s
life and then that’s where salomi comes
in because slow May is his brother’s
wife’s daughter so slow means his
stepdaughter I will not rest until him
on this throne as king with you by my
side
Antipas is very much a character that
wants to be king and and wants the power
but shai’s away a little bit from
confrontation in my head and he’s kind
of pushed on by Herodias wife finally
renamed pilots blessing
she owed the Baptist she uses her sex
and she uses em the wiles of women to
goad him into into doing things he
doesn’t want to do he wants the ease of
being controlled without having to fight
for him and told you work miracles do
something anything wondrous but grad
fall from the heavens this is a darker
character than I usually get to play and
that’s what it’s kind of fun because I
finally quite layer in a real like tent
and antipas on a black and white level
is it would be in the black part but I
found him quite gray and I enjoyed who
he was I like the challenge of playing
of actually liking this guy who’s not
very likable on the surface
