lot about money specifically about cash
how we don’t use a lot of cash anymore
and I’ve been worried that I’m not gonna
be able to keep track of my cash so
what’s happened is I’ve really started
paying attention to cash and I’ve been
tracking it as hard as I can okay I’ve
actually become a master tracking my own
cash I’m gonna show you what we’re gonna
do we’re gonna play a game with my
hundred dollar bill okay I’m gonna try
to track it all right with some money in
your pocket and if I lose you get to
keep it
sweet it’s pretty sweet yeah so Joe
we’ve got some money Joey we’re gonna
take the money I’m gonna turn my back
and every time I say switch I want you
to switch the hundred dollar bill with
one of the ones on its left or on its
right gotcha now the choice is up to you
I’m not gonna tell you what to do and
we’re gonna do it a bunch of times got
in my mind with my back turned I’m gonna
try to track where it is every time you
switch it it’ll be up to you and I won’t
influence you okay at the end of it I’m
gonna try to tell you exactly where the
hundred dollar bill is and if I’m wrong
the money is yours okay
Soviet gonna me okay here we go Joey for
the first time take the bill and switch
it either way you want all right
all right okay and now Joey uh switch it
one more time either one right or left
all right
yeah go ahead switch it again right or
left okay and switch it one last time
right or left either one which way you
want all right
so I have a feeling right now 1 out of 4
I think the bill all the way on the your
right hand side should be a single a $1
bill would you pick that up and put it
back in your pocket all right now to
leave us with three bills one more time
switch the hundred with either one of
the $1 bills that it is next – all right
and now there’s three bills and I think
it would be safe for you to take the
bill all the way on your left pick that
up off the table and put that in your
pocket okay and so now there’s two fifty
50 and I think it would be safe Joey if
you put the one on the right back in
your pocket and I believe that leaves
$100 of well tracked cash now it might
seem like I’m a mind reader or perhaps
I’ve played some trick on you maybe I
have eyes in the back of my head Joey
the secret to tracking a hundred dollar
bill is in a simple pattern okay I’m
gonna teach you that pattern right now
all you got to do is remember where the
hundred dollar bill starts if you can
remember where it starts you can figure
out where it ends following this simple
pattern all right if the bill starts in
position 1 or 3
there is no mathematical way in four
moves it can end up in position four
okay 1 2 3 and then it has to move four
if it starts in 3 it would be go 1 2 3 4
or 1 2 3 4 it just can’t so that design
it’s the same every time now if it
starts to water through you always in
your mind say I will first remove
position for God if it starts in
position 2 or 4 it’s the opposite it
can’t end up in position 1 the same
thing clock reversed okay all you have
to do is remember positions one and
three can end up in 4 2 & 4 can end up
in 1 1 that this is the hardest part of
the whole trip you can remember this it
will work every time so let’s say it
starts in position 1 we know we will
remove position 4 after that after 4
moves you remove that bill at this point
you have to switch it one more time ok
it will a hundred percent of the time
end up in the middle of the other two
bills after that switch and now it’s
just that thing exactly
you acted up as much as you can you say
ok now there’s one gone I’ve got greater
odds to lose I think you could take the
one on the right away take that away now
you’ve got two bills super acted up
right I’ve got a 50-50 chance
I really think oh I got a lot of money
to lose here but if you take the one
dollar bill from the left and put it in
your pocket that should leave you and me
leave me with my hundred dollar bills
bucks back on the table

ready to go out under the real world and
