slots are the number one rescue and in
our program and mainly because they’re
very slow
my name is Nestor Correa and this is my
wife judge anguish together we run a PPC
while at rescue in Panama and we
specialize in resting spots there’s
different reasons we receive a we rescue
slots one case is patrician project when
they’re eliminating the forests and they
are left behind then that also happened
when they are also eliminating an area
and they just move to the back yard of a
person or when they are trying to
actually change from one tree to the
other and they have a big highway or
road and milk that’s with the adults
when we do that we just rescue we
relocate them into the wild
slobs are slow but when they have to
predict themself they go address them
and they can be fast you have to be very
careful those clothes
can open your skin really fast and if
they kick me they grab you they are
never to let you go and if they bug you
the same thing
being random metal the roll like that
have to be horrible just to go from one
side to the road runs like an eternity
but they get stressed they lose weight
they get weak so the best thing to do is
use 24-48 hours left and go all our
babies are orphans we assume that in
some cases and in the other key in other
cases we know they’re orphans why
because every single one we found was
either with a mother that was dead or
about to die or motherless
I’ve been working and while I rescue my
whole life and I meet a lot of people
that can take care of animals even baby
animals but I never made a person that
can take care of sloths
babies like yourself because of the
patient she has especially when they
have to eat like every two three hours
very very small amount of milk and she
has so much patient and she can wait and
stay with them I think she’s actually
becoming slow
right now she looks after eight at the
same time she actually dedicate the
whole day and night to that from like
6:00 a.m. to like 11:00 p.m. because
they like any human baby they need
24-hour care all the animals that we
have a we rescue animals every single
one so it’s very important for people to
understand that we work in wildlife and
this animals are not pets
and once these animals are ready to go
back to the wild they will today is a
very exciting day for us because we
literally spoken we found him
close to the road he was by himself it
was about two three months old and and
the model I was actually hit by car and
now is a very good time for us to raise
him because he’s been trying to escape
for the past three weeks actually and
and he’s already trying to look for all
the trees so I think he’s ready to go
every time he attempt escape he is
getting more and more depressed so a
we’re going to fake an escape so he
think he’s sleeping and then he’s going
to just be free
hey baby I get to whom the momentum muy
sentimental but I think yeah this is a
very SEM part is a sentimental moment
for us so but we’re happy we’re not sad
what happened this is happy peace no sad
