my name is alia spread widow and I’m the
one of the 2012 Wyoming State
geographically Rock Springs is in a
small town with around 35,000 people
which makes it around the fourth largest
city in Wyoming so rock springs isn’t
short of any flip fun things to do The
Rock Springs call sign it was about 19
26 to honor the region’s most productive
industry coal mining when it was built
it did span lincoln highway but that was
way to move the statute that you see
behind me was also built for the
commemoration of the coal miners the
worked in Sweetwater County in the late
20s and early thirties this is the rock
springs recreation center one event
probably my favorite destination
well actually definitely my favorite and
it’s the only wax and it’s the only
recreation center in the Rocky Mountain
region have an indoor to have an indoor
waterpark and also in the background
white mountain which is famous for its
paleozoic and precambrian fossils cup oh
you call me studying this is definitely
one of my favorite books so National
Geographic book of countries and well I
use it all the time how I study or I
divide up geographical subjects like
rivers lakes oceans and mountains and
set a set then set aside an hour to each
day to study them and say if i’m
studying rivers I’ll study rivers for a
week and then move on to another subject
it works well for me and I suggest if
you don’t have a way that you already
study for the bead you might want to try
this and well I’m sure you guys I’m sure
you guys want to know about the other
questions so if I were to be a world
leader if I were to switch places with
any world leader I’d pick our president
barack obama because for me it would be
interesting to find out what it’s like
to on this country another one is where
would I go if someone if someone gave me
a free ticket to go anywhere on the
planet where I where would I go I’d go
to the country I go to the United
Kingdom specifically England because I’d
want to see Stonehenge and some of those
other monuments and I’d want to go to
London I mean it just it will just be
fun and interesting
educational and if I were in charge of
the earth for even one day the first
issue I tackle is problems in
underdeveloped countries some things I
do is uh I would give food aid to
countries with hunger and water scarcity
is a major problem and I try to stop
lower self war of several wars in
countries where it’s occurring hey nat
geo did you know that even though by
many the Dead Sea is considered the is
considered the lowest point on earth by
being more than a thousand feet below
sea level it on Anna the Bentley
subglacial trench in Antarctica actually
beats the dead sea by by about 7,000
feet being at over eight 8,000 feet
below sea level so thereby it is the
lowest point on earth my favorite
geography back fact by far is the state
of Wyoming produces more than minimal
trauma which you find in glass soap and
even some kinds of toothpaste Wyoming
produces more of that mineral in the
West and then the rest of the planet
combined and most of the trona deposits
are right by rock springs in town too
though and at a time about 17 miles to
the west called Green River and there’s
some and there’s a bunch of mines here
and what do I want to be when I grow up
even though this might be a shot two
people even though i loved i love
geography I want to be an engineered
because from the time i was little i
love drafting plans for things that you
could build and it’s always been an
interest me and it’s always been fun
by the way you could tie geography into
that is if you say you were designing a
house and you needed to survey the land
but yeah and thanks for watching my
video I’d like to bid you farewell
