a couple of members from this UK band
do you want to tell me first when you
guys knew that making music was more
than just a hobby little bit 10 minutes
ago well we’ve started playing music we
were at 14 years old and I guess when we
went our first to it or really start
first gonna EP that was when we felt
like a like a real band and can you guys
tell me a bit about the music making
process how you guys go about
experimenting well I write the songs and
then I guess we experiment probably a
bit in the studio we’re normally quite
specific with our ideas and we’re gonna
create in the song initially and then
when you’re gonna put know the the
pretty stuff on top that’s when you can
can I go a bit nuts and start doing
things we wouldn’t normally do like get
saxophone on a rake artists I rather you
described your music as incorporating
some weird we’re like to try and
connect confuse people right enter name
will be paying for a bad name ever since
we came up with it but initially it was
just to be a bit awkward with people and
we like to kind of make people thank you
know music is gonna entertainment but
does it should be something more than
that and it should you know wake in
parts of your soul and parts of your
brain that are normally dormant
so as you develop as artists what do you
appreciate about your music the way it
impacts your own lives we always trying
to separate you know our home lives with
gonna be in a band there are new records
quite a sad record but that if we start
Encana thought about that all the time
then it would probably be can it
unhealthy people I’m said that would be
an interior for eight weeks so I
probably mega mega unhealthy
one church lie
I think you’ve got a kind of went gonna
stop you know and some of a really
personal songs that were you know we
have to play it shows every night you
know you have to try and get a switch
off at certain times because there you
just end up breaking down
how personal is the music to to you guys
we’ve always try to do things our way
and make sure we’re happy with it first
and foremost but very nice for other
people get a chance to take it onto the
yourselves increment it becomes personal
for them as well when are we guys thank
