there’s not too many heroes that you can
build up in your own mind and they’re
just as cool if not cool it and then you
imagine what are you doing did you win
what you get a carousel all right get
out of town okay that’s like the time of
year where it’s like we’re kind of
transitioning you know like summers so
our schedule and we make up exactly what
we want to do tomorrow basically starts
where for the next 10 months like the
schedules made for us you know like hour
by hour almost and you know and so
obviously like my schedule directly
affects the girls you know I have like a
really solid line between hockey and
like life you know it’s like I leave
hockey at the ring hi hey you know I
don’t talk about hockey at home and
Christy even thinks like she wants me to
you a little bit more I think sometimes
but I just don’t bring it home like I
leave it there and and hi
and i think it’s it’s healthy ok stuff
you want to ride like a cowboy doing it
right like a cowboy go like this you
know we’re on the road a lot and we’re
busy it would crack and stuff like that
but I bet like if you add it all up we
get to spend more time with our family
and kids than the average nine to five
job like we you know I’m practice day
like you know we’re skating in the
morning and we’re back by one or two
o’clock you know so we get a lot of time
we could pick up pick up the kids from
school we can even drop off a lot of
times I think having that really defined
line from hockey is it’s rough from any
work is healthy and get away from it
rest your mind so I look forward to a
lot of things outside of hockey well you
know just doing the school stuff and
doing like normal stuff and you know hey
babe yeah I mean it’s pretty enjoyable
you know and I know a lot of people do
like they I mean like any job take your
work home with you and just weighs on
you and you can’t you can’t enjoy you
know other stuff as much as I talk to a
camera
a new captain my life is so feared I’m
so focused I’m so focused on some random
woman know the answer to summon
everybody in the house the moments they
changes good changes good changes
in the hood come on let’s change a new
chapter in my life is open I’m so
focused I’m so okay Kidal change is
going
